 Avivo support people across Western Australia who requires individualised assistance to live at home due to disability, frailty or mental illness. We work together with people and families to plan, coordinate and provide support and services as they choose to lead their lives.

We are looking for a friendly, flexible and caring Support Worker to join our Wheatbelt team to support one particular lady. The lady we support is looking for a female support worker to work alongside her in her daily life accessing the community.   She lives with the frustration and agitation caused by early and rapid onset dementia.


The preferred applicant would preferably have experience working within both the Aged Care and dementia sector. Hours are Monday to Friday daily support and the occasional Saturday.


The work would involve, but is no restricted to, supporting customers with:

  • Providing personal care, social support, community access and domestic assistance
  • Providing reliable, timely and flexible services that best meet the needs of the individual and their family
  • Problem solving issues with the individuals and the Support Worker team


 What we require:

  • Experience in Aged Care/Dementia is desirable but not essential
  • Have an interest in providing domestic assistance and personal care
  • You are reliable, flexible and possess a positive attitude
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Hold a current driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are essential


In return you will receive a hourly rate of $24.15 per hour plus 9.5% superannuation with the option to increase your non-taxable income through Salary Packaging. You will also be paid some kilometres travelled and receive comprehensive training.
