Support Workers
Part Time position based in the Claremont and Carine areas

We are looking for friendly, flexible and caring Support Workers to join our Claremont and Carine teams.

 

Our Claremont team require Support Workers to assist our customer with Huntington's who requires 24 hour assistance and our Carine team require Support Workers to support our customer with Autism.

 

The role will work across a broad spectrum of care needs, assisting these individuals to remain living within their community and to achieve their future goals.

 

We are looking for people who are flexible enough to work across a 7 day week, morning, afternoon and evenings.

 

The work would involve, but is not restricted to, supporting these customers with:

  • Providing personal care, social support, community access and domestic assistance
  • Providing reliable, timely and flexible services that best meet the needs of the individual and their family
  • Problem solving issues with the individuals and the Support Worker team

 What we require:

  • Previous experience in the Aged Care, Disability  and Mental Health field is desirable
  • Experience supporting people with Autism or dysphagia advantageous
  • Have an interest in providing domestic assistance and personal care
  • You are reliable, flexible and possess a positive attitude
  • Possess excellent communication skills and work well within a team environment
  • Hold a current driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are essential
  • Applicants must reside in/close to the Carine and Claremont suburbs.

Minimum salary is a starting rate of $25.90 per hour plus 9.5% superannuation. You will have the option of Salary Packaging up to $18,550, with accrued Leave. You will also be paid travel time & kilometres* and receive comprehensive training (*subject to conditions)

 

Making an appointment to this position is subject to a satisfactory National Police Clearance
