Avivo works in the areas of aged care, disability and mental health providing the supports people need to live life in their own home and community.


We are looking for a friendly, flexible and caring Support Worker to join our Wheatbelt team in the Moora / Dandaragan and surrounding suburbs.


The role will work across a broad spectrum of care needs, assisting individuals to remain living within their community and to achieve their future goals.


Duties include:

  • Providing personal care, social support, community access and domestic assistance
  • Providing reliable, timely and flexible services that best meet the needs of the individual and their family
  • Problem solving issues with the individuals and the Support Worker team
  • Working collaboratively in a self-driven, dynamic team

 Selection criteria:

  • Previous Support Worker experience in Disability & Aged care (essential)
  • Previous experience in Autism (desirable but not mandatory )
  • Experience providing personal care and/or a willingness to undertake personal care duties
  • Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and think outside the box
  • A current driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (essential)
  • Able to work morning shifts and must be available for after school supports.
  • Required to work 4 days during the week.


In return, you will have access to some great benefits! A minimum rate of $21.90 per hour is on offer as is a travel allowance of 76 cents per kilometre between supports. Other benefits include the payment of travel time, salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum, and accrued annual and personal leave.
