Support Workers at Avivo play an important role in our organisation. They share responsibility for providing quality supports to our customers and form an integral link between our customers and the rest of the team.
In addition, they assist the team facilitators to lead effective teams, providing recovery focused and strength based support to our customers.
We are looking candidates who have a passion to work within an experienced and supportive team, working with people to live a fulfilling life in their own homes and community.
Providing reliable, timely and flexible services that best meet the needs of the individual and their family
Problem solving issues with the person and/or their family, and the team
Enabling the person to participate in the community
What we require:
Previous experience in Mental health/Mental Health Recovery Skills
Have flexibility to work varying hours during the week and weekends
Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and motivation
Be available to respond to changing support times
Have daily access to a reliable vehicle and possess a current driver’s licence
Must be currently residing in the suburbs of Mandurah/Rockingham or surrounding suburbs
In return, you will have access to some great benefits! A minimum hourly rate of $24.15 is on offer as is a travel allowance of 76 cents per kilometre between supports. Other benefits include the payment of travel time, salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum, and accrued annual and personal leave.
