We are looking for an awesome person to join this young man’s team!
I am a young man in my late teens living in the Waggrakine area and am looking preferably for a young male support worker who will respect and support me to live independently and help me with my short term goals.
I am looking for someone who can offer me new experiences, teach me new and existing life skills and help me establish and maintain social interactions. I communicate via my IPad and I have some language skills.
I really enjoy going to the airport to watch planes, I love ships, trains, and animals, so I am looking for someone who is fit and enjoys outdoor pursuits as much as I do. You must be able to establish, maintain and work to a routine with me as it is extremely important to me.
If you are the person who could be part of my team then you will need to be reliable, have a positive outlook, be flexible, enthusiastic and be happy to use your initiative. You will become a valued team player. You should be available to work on Saturday mornings 10am to 12pm.
You will help me be the best I can be every day!
What we require:
- Experience in Disability/Autism is desirable but not essential
- You are reliable, flexible and possess a positive attitude
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Hold a current driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are essential
- A working with children check or ability to apply for a WWC check is essential
In return, you will have access to some great benefits! Salary is a rate of $27.40 per hour plus 9.5% superannuation. You will also be paid travel time and kilometres and receive comprehensive training.
