Avivo support people across Western Australia who require individualised assistance to live at home due to disability, frailty or mental illness. We work together with people and families to plan, coordinate and provide support and services as they choose to lead their lives.


We have a great opportunity for an experienced Reconciliation Officer to join our Home Care Package (HCP) Adjustments Team at our office at Osborne Park.


HCP Adjustments has responsibility for reconciling income and purchases in customers’ Financial Packages, investigating and resolving discrepancies, identifying issues and opportunity for improvement and providing support and training to the business on Financial Packages.


The role assists in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of information in customers’ Financial Packages which leads to better decisions and choices by the customer in the management of their home care support.


Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Reconciliation of data between systems and liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues

  • Reconciliation, collection and receipting of Medicare payments

  • Preparation of monthly statements for customers

  • Preparation of Home Care Package discharge notices

What we require:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of accounting concepts and principles

  • Experience working with high volume transaction reconciliations

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel (Vlookup, pivot tables)

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge of a large ERP system desirable

  • Experience with Aged Care funding and Home Care Packages desirable
