We support people who require individualised assistance to live at home due to disability, frailty or mental illness. Support Workers play an important role in our organisation. They provide quality services to people and they form an integral link with our teams.
We are looking for multiple Support Workers who live in the Greenfields and Mandurah areas to join our team on a part-time basis. If successful for the position you will be assisting our customer with day to day tasks including personal care and hoisting.
Providing reliable, timely and flexible services that best meet the needs of the individual and their family
Providing support services including Hoisting, manual tasks and Personal Care
Problem solving issues with the person and/or their family, and the team
What we require:
Previous experience in Disability
Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude
Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and listening
Availability to work a variety of shifts between the hours of 8.30am - 10.30pm throughout the week and weekend.
A current driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle are essential
In return, you will have access to some great benefits! A minimum rate of $25.50 per hour is on offer as is a travel allowance of 76 cents per kilometre between supports. Other benefits include the payment of travel time, option of salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum, and accrued annual and personal leave.
Making an appointment to this position is subject to a satisfactory National Police Clearance.
