Our customer is looking for a Host Family based in or around the Kwinana/Rockingham/Baldivis area to offer a short stay – during the week or on a weekend (flexible) – weekly to provide his family a short break from their caring role.
The customer is a gentleman who likes to help with cooking, bike riding, Musicals and playing football. He loves the company of others and being a part of the daily activities. You would need to have a spare bedroom available for his needs.
Host Family Support involves welcoming a person into your home and family through shared experiences and development of a relationship. We are looking for someone who is willing to build a friendship with this gentleman and his family, so he is in a caring environment that feels like a home away from home.
Previous experience in disabilities and awareness and understanding with OCD behaviours would be advantageous.
Remuneration will be discussed through the interview process.
